If my unexpected presence makes you uncomfortable please let me know and I will wander off again. *********************************** About me (and other subjects) Writing... I am a writer - a lifelong description. My definition of a writer is someone who must write. Not wallow in my dreams about writing and boring my friends and loved ones rigid talking about wanting to be a writer... well not unless you wade through this journal anyway :) Current work in progress: I am currently biting the bullet and forcing myself to complete an entire novel for the first time. The rough draft of Out of the Clouds is evolving in fits and starts. You can see very early pieces in the memories if you squint closely and these date back, um, how long have I had this journal? Oh, right. I write part-time around whatever job is currently paying the bills. I started writing the novel seriously in 2004. As of August 2006, the novel has gone on hold while I experiment with a more technical approach to plot outlines and development. It stands to reason that if I equip myself with a map, compass and a sense of direction I might actually be able to get where I am trying so hard to go. :p Currently moonlighting as... ... uh, best describe it as cat herder. In my working life I am capable and efficient. Every single item neatly filed and in its place. At home my personal possessions are carelessly filed on the floor. I am trying to break this depressing habit, but generally I am too busy writing/amusing myself to be buggered with housework. *********************************** | |||||||
